One thing I’ve been reading about lately is battery powered electric vehicles, or just EVs for short. Unbeknownst to most Americans is that there have been a few EVs put out by major auto manufacturers already, only to be destroyed later (for the most part). For instance, there was the highly visable GM EV1, the Toyota Rav4EV, the Ford Ranger EV, and the Ford Th!nk, to name a few. The default for all these cars was a lease only. The EV1s were almost all crushed. The RAV4EVs some were sold to people, others couldn’t buy them. Not sure about the Rangers, but I know that the Th!nks were sent off to Norway to be sold.
